After the "Black Cat" debacle shown previously, the director of the Chicago International Film Festival showed me previous posters that all seemed to focus on partially clothed, athletically built, sometimes wet young men in mirrored sunglasses. What this had to do with international films in competition I could not fathom. I was not paying attention to the fact that he wanted a gay, male image, and stubbornly refused to, as can be seen by this sketch of the black cat once again, but in mirrored sunglasses and a tux. Of course, this was not even seen as amusing. I should have come up with something with handsome men in it, but I was being contrary.
